Welcome to the Crossroads Country Opry Web site!
Our purpose is to provide a source of entertainment dedicated to promoting
Classic Country and Country/Gospel music by means of live music. Surplus
funds will be utilized in providing scholarships to higher education students in
our area. Funding will be generated through sponsorships, endowments,
donations, gifts, live music entertainment events, raffles, and merchandise
sales.

when he won a national singing contest at age 14. This will be Tony's first appearance on Crossroads

Crossroads Country Opry Shows:
Will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. We have partnered with the Victoria Jaycees for these events. In order to bring diversity to the show, each show will highlight at least two (2) featured Guest Singers and will also feature our house band members.
The Oprys will be held at the Jaycee Hall, 2905 E North St., Victoria, TX.
The Victoria Jaycees will offer meals for $6 beginning at 5:30 pm before each show. The Opry will begin at 7:00 pm and admission will be $5 per person. We try to bring the show to an end promptly at 9:30 pm.

John Sullivan
Crossroads Country Opry (CCO) Founder and President. John is a lifelong resident of Victoria county, and has been an entertainer at area Oprys for more than 20 years. John sings and plays the bass guitar.

Randy Boyd
CCO Vice-President. Randy is a Victoria County resident and has been an entertainer at area Oprys for more than 30 years. Randy sings and plays the steel guitar, electric lead guitar, and harmonica.

David Waters
CCO Board member. David is a Victoria resident and has been an entertainer at area Oprys for 25 years. David sings and plays the electric lead guitar and rhythm guitar. David plays lead guitar for Billy Mata and the Texas Tradition Band. This band was inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall Of Fame in 2010.

Dana Smith
CCO Band member. Dana is a Victoria resident and has been in the entertainment business for 30 years. He sings and plays the electric piano and fiddle.

Henry Hosek
CCO Band member. Henry is a Victoria resident and has been in the entertainment business for a number of years. He sings and plays the fiddle.

Everett Wood
CCO Band member. Everett is a Port Lavaca resident and has been in the entertainment business for a number of years. He sings and plays the drums.

Josh "Bubba" Almeida
CCO Event Emcee. Josh is a Victoria resident and has been involved in radio and television commercials for a number of years.

Tony was commissioned an official Texan by Governor Rick Perry, for his
contributions to Country Music in the Great State of Texas over the past 45
years.

Johnny Bush, Jody Nix, Justin Trevino, Curtis Potter, Leona Williams, Jake

Heather Myles, Frenchie Burke, Rance Norton, Kimberly Murray, Frankie Miller,
The English Brothers, Colorado Wranglers, Tommy Reed & Texas Express, Miss
Leslie and her Juke Jointers and many others.
Tony joined
Heart of Texas Records in 2008 and released his first project "Is This All There
is to a Honky Tonk?" in March. The album became an immediate hit and the reviews
were very kind to an artist that had not released a project in nearly thirty
years. Tony followed that project up with a trio album with Darrell McCall and
Curtis Potter. His newest project is titled "The Other Side of Love" and is
gaining momentum all of the country.
